Throughout the year, The Big Lift runs on and off-campus Pay it Forward initiatives. These volunteer opportunities include Pay It Forward Week, toy & book drives, environmental conservation and many more!
Service Projects
Service Projects are one-day activities held in or around Sydney where we dedicate a few hours to helping out local communities and organisations. We aim to run one Service Project every month. We have previously worked with Clean Up Australia Day, Foodbank, Letters of Hope, Asylum Seekers Centre, Ted Noffs, Birthing Kit Foundation and many more!
Pay It Forward Week
Pay It Forward Week is an annual event for The Big Lift, traditionally run in mid-August. During this week, we celebrate all things that make up the core of The Big Lift, embracing our central value of “Paying it Forward” with an event every day! From on-campus crafting and bake sales to off-campus volunteering and a surprise end-of-week event, it’s our second most anticipated event of the year. Keep an eye out for this year’s PIFW dates!
